Sean Plunket: Luxon is a ‘wokester’, an ‘idiot’, and a ‘fool’ who stands for nothing

Summarised by Centrist

Broadcaster Sean Plunket unloaded on Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, calling him a “John Key tribute band with a playlist from Jacinda Ardern” who is too weak, too stupid, and too naïve to lead New Zealand.

In a brutal takedown on The Platform, Plunket accused Luxon of walking into media traps, lacking backbone, and failing to understand the political landscape.

“Luxon is showing himself to be incompetent as a prime minister while the rest of the world and centre-right conservative politics is making massive gains in changing the culture of democracies around the world… riding the wave of change that has been created by Trump’s return to the presidency in the United States,” The Platform’s main anchor told listeners.

Plunket dismissed Luxon as a hapless amateur who has “no wit or character to lead this country”, adding: “People are getting thoroughly sick of your averageness.” He savaged Luxon’s handling of press conferences, saying: “Your brain is missing… sometimes it’s better to shut up.”

He also accused Luxon of selling out conservatives, claiming: “Underneath it all, I think he is a wokester.”

According to Plunket, Luxon is desperately trying to win over the left—a pointless effort: “You will never convince the left to like you, Chris Luxon… because you stand for nothing, you are falling for everything.”

Plunket didn’t stop there. He warned National is doomed under Luxon and called on the party to replace him before the next election, floating Judith Collins as the only viable option. His message to Luxon?

“If you have some justification for your moronic actions, come on the program. But I’m not going to bother chasing an idiot like you anymore.”

GRAHAM ADAMS: Trans ‘No Debate’ policy collapses

If you want to attack anyone for what you and a few of your fellow ideological travellers see as doctrinal error, you really shouldn’t make your target the grieving parents of a child who died alone of starvation in a motel room.
