An exodus of candidates from the Democracy NZ camp means would-be freedom voters may be looking for a new political affiliation. 

This conservative bloc are probably not willing to change their tune on National or ACT. Perhaps they view them in a dim light for failing to engage with peaceful demonstrators during the Wellington protest as covered in the recently released two-part documentary “We came here for freedom”. 


These disenfranchised voters may turn to NZ First and Winston Peters, who has been vocal against Labour’s divisive policies.
