Commenting on a recent article by vaccinologist Dr Stanley Plotkin and his team, US vaccine injury litigation specialist, Aaron Siri writes: “They just admitted vaccines are not properly studied—neither pre-licensure nor post-licensure.
Siri suggests that for years, the medical community touted vaccines as the safest and best-tested products we put in our bodies. Parents and vaccine-injured individuals who challenged this narrative were often shunned.
However, Siri argues that Plotkin’s recent admission reveals that vaccines have not been adequately studied.
“Pre Licensure clinical trials have limited sample sizes [and] follow-up durations,” and there are no dedicated resources for post authorisation safety studies.
Siri writes that the push after 2018 for more safety information in vaccine inserts and subsequent lobbying efforts revealed “there are no proper safety studies. So, there is no safety data to add to the FDA package inserts…”
He writes that Plotkin and his colleagues are now trying to admit the lack of studies while still claiming that serious vaccine harms are “rare”.
“If the studies have not been done, how do they know that?” he asks.
Siri argues their primary goal is to protect their careers and the vaccine industry’s reputation, not to ensure safety.
