What is Centrist Social?
Centrist Social is the next evolution of Centrist: a social news experience where members can discover news, follow people and Pages, publish original work, share Quick Posts and discuss stories in context.
Is this replacing the existing Centrist news experience?
No. Centrist's Classic news experience and the Social Feed serve different ways of reading. Social adds a more participatory layer while Centrist continues to provide a focused home for news and original analysis.
What will early-access subscribers receive?
We will send selected development previews, feature explainers, practical setup guidance, launch updates and opportunities to be among the first people invited to try new Social features.
Do I need to be a journalist or creator?
Not at all. You can use Centrist Social to read, follow and discuss. If you do want to publish, your profile and optional Pages give you room to grow from short posts into full articles.
Will it be free to join?
A free Centrist account provides the foundation for joining the community. Centrist may also offer optional premium benefits, without making ordinary participation dependent on them.
